Great ice cream! Black cherry Sunday was fantastic. They are the only place I know that has that Sunday topping other than Dairy Queen. As a kid growing up in NYC we had Carvel ice cream that had that topping and it was great. Milwaukee brought me great memories of my childhood. Thanks!

This place hasn't changed since it first opened, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. You walk in and it feels like the early 2000s. They only offer two consistent custard flavors (chocolate and vanilla) with one rotating special flavor every day. This is a classic place for a summer treat that sticks to the basics, which they do well! The frozen custard is creamy and never tastes artificial. It's a bit on the pricy side, but it's worth it in my opinion!

Had always been one of my favorite place to get soft serve ice creams in the summer. Lots of options for toppings. Not too crowded. I usuallly get a kids size. A la Mode ice cream were the best. Warm Brownie, cold ice cream, perfect for summer days! Service were great, fast and quick!

As a Midwest gal, custard is my jam. So when I discovered this place by my mother in laws in the burbs of VA, I was skeptical. We show up and it's a throwback to Milwaukee, Wisconsin custard! Oh my gosh it was amazing. Really no frills but if you've been to any authentic custard shops, that's exactly how it is. Got a large turtle sundae with vanilla ice cream and shared it with the husband. Really regret sharing as I wanted to order a second. The vanilla doesn't have that artificial flavor you sometimes find and the whip cream tasted homemade. Delish, will be going back! Editing to include costs. With tax and tip I paid about $8. Yes on the higher end but I can only imagine post COVID and inflation they had to raise prices? Willing to pay for quality and I did not feel ripped off.

TL;DR: Silky Custard, lots of topping options and variations (sundaes, concretes, cones), different flavor of the day This place has been here for as long as I can remember, it's crazy that I haven't written a review yet. Frozen desserts is one of my favorite things ever. Ice cream, Froyo, Custard, Gelato, Etc. I love this place! The texture of the frozen custard is SO good. It's nice and soft, full of flavor, and you can customize it as you wish. They have flavor of the day custards, so take a look at their calendar to see what they offer that day. When you first walk in, the space definitely looks outdated, but that doesn't matter. I think this place is a small family owned business, usually see 1 or 2 people working at the most, so be patient, as there is a line sometimes, but they work pretty fast! My favorite things there so far: ~Concretes (5/5): basically like a Mcflurry or a blizzard with your choice of custard flavor, but omg last time we went, my husband got an Oreo concrete with vanilla custard, and it was SO GOOD. My favorite is Butterfinger with chocolate custard. ~Brownie Sundae (4/5): Very rich and decadent. The brownie was so yummy and warm, especially against the cold custard. ~Hot Fudge Sundae (5/5): How can you go wrong with a classic? Always satisfies my cravings.
